The Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Patient-Derived Cancer Models (JSPCM 2026) will take place from August 19–21, 2026, at the National Cancer Center in Tokyo, Japan. JSPCM serves as a forum for researchers involved in the establishment and application of cancer models derived from clinical specimens, bringing together basic researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to share research findings, exchange new ideas, and advance patient-derived cancer model research.
With the theme “Rethinking the Future of Cancer Models,” this year’s meeting will explore the evolving roles of cell lines, xenografts, organoids, and other cancer models in understanding tumor biology, evaluating therapeutic efficacy, and supporting drug discovery.
We are pleased to announce our participation in JSPCM 2026. During the meeting, we will introduce our proprietary R³CE® (Rapid, Reproducible, Rare Cell 3D Expansion) technology and deliver two presentations highlighting its applications in functional liquid biopsy and human-relevant 3D cell culture.
In the Special Lecture, Dr. Ying C. Chang will discuss how patient-derived circulating tumor cells can be expanded into functional 3D models, advancing liquid biopsy beyond detection toward functional analysis.
In the Corporate Lecture, Dr. Jia-Yang Chen will introduce how R³CE® simplifies the transition from conventional 2D cell culture to reproducible, scaffold-free, and human-relevant 3D models.
We invite attendees to visit the AcroCyte booth to meet our team and discover how our technologies support circulating tumor cell culture, patient-derived cancer models, organoid research, and scaffold-free 3D cell culture.
